Vinology Private Events
As a full-service venue, it is Vinology’s top priority to ensure that each of our private events are provided with dignified service, hospitality, and expertise. All events held here are curated by the in-house Event Coordinator, with collaboration from the Executive Chef and Beverage Manager. Together, this team of professionals work together to guarantee that your event exceeds your vision.
The Rooms
The Bubble Room
Being the largest dining room, the Bubble Room accommodates up to 60 guests for a seated reception and can hold 75 guests for a strolling cocktail event. This intimate dining space earned its name after we commissioned our friends at Furnace Hot Glass in Dearborn to create and hang 400 hand-blown glass balls from the ceiling. To complement this luxurious installation and the exposed stone and brick walls we added soft lighting, a mahogany bar, and sheer curtains for a feeling of subtle and elegant privacy. A sculpture on the back wall describes the various champagne production processes and soil boxes hang above each table. The room is perfect for special events! (20-60 guests)
The Cellar Room
This is by far our most sought after dining space. It seats only 16, but most people who see it want to create an event just to use it! Oversize wood bins filled with wine line the walls of this glassed-in space. It is perfect for an intimate dinner or business meeting. The room is sound proof, is wired for private music, and has a screen for a presentation. It can be slightly chilly as it is our cellar room, but that is part of its charm. Our guests that dine with us on our main level can also peruse this space to help decide which retail wines they would like to take home. (up to 20 guests, but most comfortable for 16)
The Bordeaux Space (formerly the Vine)
A handmade wall of Bordeaux box lids meets a historic brick wall lined with custom-designed glow boxes. Each box is filled with a unique wine-related element and a description of how it affects the wine in your glass. Learn while you eat and drink! The stairwell to the space is decorated with a hand-widled vine sculpture created by the Detroit Design Group. Phillip Cooley and his team also created two large light boxes representing the life of a vine above and below the soil that are mounted above and below the stairwell. Enjoy an evening surround by wine inspired art. This area is just outside our cellar room. (up to 20 guests)
The Barrel Room
This is the newest addition to Vinology on our Main Street dining floor. Made from local reclaimed red oak wood, it is a wine barrel shaped room that seats 12-20 guests. This semi-private space closes with a curtain and is open to the sounds of the restaurant. It is perfect for an energetic small shower or birthday gathering. (up to 20 guests)
